Gemming your hunter is important. Here is a list of gems to help you gear up your hunter. Use epic gems for gear item level 232 or above. Remember Jewelcrafter’s can use 3 Dragon’s Eyes. You are going to gem your hunter mostly with Agility gems. Match socket bonuses when the bonus is +4 Agi or greater.

Red

Remember to match a socket bonus if it is +4 Agility or above. +6 or +8 Agility would be better.

You would rarely try to meet a socket bonus for a blue gem unless the socket bonus is +6 or +8 agility.  I included the hit ones just in case you are short a few hit. 30 hit = 1 % hit. 246 Hit for 8% hit rating. Reforge the rest.  You can also enchant your weapon with Accuracy for +25 hit.

Relentless Earthsiege Diamond – 3% increase critical damage is what makes this a winner.

To save gold buy gems with Justice Points or Honor Points.
