Baby Worgen Feral Druid Leveling

Druid Leveling Guide from Restokin. Covers Feral Leveling Talent Spec, Spells & Abilities, Glyphs & Gear.

Baby Feral Druid Kitty Heirlooms

Zone (Level range)
Important Quest Chains

Gilneas City (1-5)

You are very limited and can’t leave the zone until you finish all the quests in the zone. Just grab the leather pieces with Agility and Stamina if you are leveling feral.

Gilneas (1-12)

Finish off the zone with The Battle for Gilneas City and pick up Mace of the Blood Price.

Darkshore (10-20)

Make sure you do Disturbing Connections and grab Silver Embossed Boots.  Then do The Battle for Darkshore and grab Bracers of the Ancient Grove.

Duskwood (20-25)

I still have to make my way to Duskwood.  Why not Ashemvale?  It’s now a Horde invested wasteland that’s why!  On a serious note, for alliance there isn’t enough quests there with good enough rewards.

This should get you started.  If you get lost just look at the bulletin boards in any main city, and it can put you on a quest to get you to your next zone.

Why druid?  Feral Druids, rogues, and baby hunters (up to level 40) compete for the same gear in low level dungeons.  Hunters will want leather gear up to level 40 and will follow the same questing path until then.  I figured why not?  I am having fun leveling my baby worgen feral druid kitty so much that I had to blog about it.  Keep in mind that Hunters can use the same heirlooms up to level 40.

You could use some of these pieces for you hunter like the head, shoulders and chest until level 40.  Then use the cape all the way until 85.

No matter your age, gender, faction, level, etc you have been touched by the Earth quake wether that be mentally , physically, etc. Please help the human beings who are undergoing this terrible and tragedy. Deathwing has touched our world as well and he must be stopped! Train hard, hunt harder! Hoorah!

Ironweaver is going to be in listing in the National Guard. Wish us luck in basic!

Bellow you will find a link to the Red Cross web site. Please, everyone… words can not describe the disaster so I will not try to. Help if you can. Give up WoW for a month and give them your $15.00 instead like I did. God bless and happy hunting! 🙂

Japan received $10,000,000.00 (ten million dollars initially after the Earth quake and is still helping) dont think your money is not going to a good cause.

Cataclysm: Engineering Hunter Macros

This is my new defense macro.  You could use it when you are getting low on health and help out the healers. /use 6 is your belt enchant.  You could tinker Grounded Plasma Shield to your belt and use that to absorb some damage.  It helps in boss fights like in Blackwing Descent when you tackle Chimaeron and he deals Massacre to your whole raid or Halls of Origination when Anraphet does his AOE Omega Stance.

#showtooltip Stoneform(Racial)
/cast Stoneform(Racial)
/cast Deterrence
/use 6
/cast [target=player] Master’s Call

Tinkering Synapse Springs or Tazik Shocker to all your shots is standard.  /use 10 is the macro line needed to use either of these tinkers.  The cool down for Synapse Springs is 1 min so you could use it twice during the time you use a trinket like Unsolvable Riddle,

#showtooltip Arcane Shot
/use 10
/use 13
/use 14
/cast Arcane Shot

Not sure if there is any reason to have macros for some of the other on use items.  If I figure it out I’ll post them later.

I tamed Madexx.  He is one of the hardest pets to find and my last Cataclysm pet.  The stupid hyena got stuck in my trap instead of the scorpion.  I tamed it Friday morning.  In the screen shot you can see that I have both _NPCscan and SilverDragon addons.

Good night everyone!

Patch 4.0.6 Official Notes

Today’s topid: Blizzard has released patch 4.0.6!

Why?: Because there are so many classes that got buffed up the kester when Cata came out.

Many people will not agree with what Blizzard did because it was there class that got nerfed. What they do not realize is that they are a minority! The entire WoW community has been screaming for these changes. Here are the finalized patch 4.0.6 notes.

  • Aimed Shot weapon damage has been increased to 200%, up from 150%. In addition, the base cast time has been reduced to 2.4 seconds, down from 3.
  • Arcane Shot damage has been increased by 15%.
  • Aspect of the Wild, Aspect of the Hawk, and Aspect of the Fox can now be cast while mounted.
  • Hunters can now use Auto Shot while moving.
  • Casting Trap Launcher, Distracting Shot, and Scare Beast now cancel Auto Shot when cast. This is to make it easier to crowd control creatures with Auto Shot while moving enabled.
  • Concussive Shot duration has been increased to 6 seconds, up from 4.
  • Deterrence now provides 100% chance for melee attacks to miss instead of 100% parry chance. This means that attacks that cannot be parried, notably some rogue abilities, can now be prevented by Deterrence, and the hunter will gain the benefit of Deterrence even if disarmed.
  • Dust Cloud’s cooldown and duration have been modified to make it closer aligned with Tailspin (same effect, different pet).
  • Freezing Trap now has a PvP duration of 8 seconds.
  • Kill Command’s damage has been increased by 20%.
  • Kill Shot’s attack power scaling has been increased by 50%.
  • Master’s Call now has a 35-second cooldown, down from 1 minute, and its range has been increased to 40 yards, up from 25. In addition, the visual effect is more obvious.
  • Wing Clip now has a PvP duration of 8 seconds.
  • Talent Specializations
    • Beast Mastery
      • Animal Handler now provides a passive 25% bonus to attack power, up from 15%.
    • Marksmanship
      • Chimera Shot’s overall damage has been increased by roughly 50%.
      • Wild Quiver (Mastery): Chance for this to trigger per mastery has been increased by approximately 17%.
    • Survival
      • Black Arrow damage has been reduced by 15%.
      • Explosive Shot damage has been reduced by 15%.
      • Hunter vs. Wild has been increased to 5/10/15% Stamina, up from 4/8/12%.
      • Into the Wilderness (passive) has been reduced to a 10% Agility increase, down from 15%.
  • Pets
    • Pets now have 70% of the master’s armor, rather than a different value based on which type of pet they are.
    • Shale Spiders now correctly have a special ability (Web Wrap).
    • Bad Manner (monkey) now properly breaks from damage.
  • Glyphs
    • Glyph of Concussive Shot redesigned. It now limits the maximum run speed of the target while Concussive Shot is active.
  • Hunter Bug Fixes
    • Aimed Shot no longer ignores the Fire! buff when cast by macro.
    • Camouflage is now breaking when the hunter’s traps deal damage to a target.
    • Chimera Shot’s particle effect animations should now display correctly.
    • Cobra Shot now properly increases the duration of the Serpent Spread Serpent Sting.
    • The Focus Fire spell effect is now cooler than your best collection of green rectangles.
    • Wild Quiver’s effect per point of mastery value should now be consistent.
    • Before shooting, male undead hunters will no longer look away from their targets.
    • Pet Fixes
      • Pet families added in Cataclysm should not be missing talents.
      • Pets should fight all underwater creatures, even if the hunter is out of melee range.
      • Ancient Hysteria should not able to affect low-level characters.
      • Ancient Hysteria now correctly affects pets.
      • Embrace of the Shale Spider now provides resistances so that those resistances are not lost if this buff overwrites Blessing of Forgotten Kings.
      • Ferocity-category pets in the dog and fox families now have access to the pet talent Charge.
      • Mobility can correctly be learned by land-based hunter pets.
      • Ravage no longer counts toward stun diminishing returns.
      • Undead hunters now start with Revive Pet on the action bar.
      • The pet Spellbook entry for Serpent Swiftness now shows its rank.
      • Shale Spiders are no longer missing a special ability.
      • The Shell Shield (Terrorpene) visual has been enlarged and should now be seen when cast.
      • The tooltip for the armor value in the Character pane should now be showing the correct amount of armor granted to pets.

SHOUT OUTS: This shout out goes to all other hunters! BM is back baby! Wooters!

Thank you very much and happy hunting.

I just read the first 3 parts of the 5 part comic series and it is awesome.  It explains the lore of the Druids of the Scythe and the origins of the worgen thoroughly.  You don’t have to look up some fan made forum post that gives you false information.  The official lore is coming straight from the comic books.

If you have a iPhone or iPod Touch you can download the DC Comics app or go to the DC Comics website and buy the comics from there.  You use the same login for both methods of reading the comics so if you are like me and buy them from your iPhone you can still read them on your computer.  Actually, you can enjoy these comics from any computer as long as you use your login.  They are $2.99 each from the iPhone app but contain about 30 pages of pure bliss.  You get to see Gilneas like you have never seen before.

I didn’t want to break any copyright laws so I only posted the title picture.  The image is actually what it looks like if you view the comic from your computer and use the Guided view.   Guided view lets you view the comic, frame by frame, without zooming out too far where you can’t read the text.  The app has a similar feature.  To view the extent of the frame, I found myself turning my iPhone from landscape to portrait and vice versa a few occasions while reading the comics.  Whoever knew viewing comics on my iPhone would be possible?

Well enjoy.
